Art for an old dear friend.
I messed the shading a little on the neck, so I’ll tinker with it and add some hair highlights in GiMP later. But yeah, here it is.
Some DXHR fan art.
I’ve been playing the game on and off since its release, and have fallen for the art style and character designs, especially the detail behind Adam Jensen. I really apprieciate the effort put into making the character as a whole, but most importantly, the arms. Such a beautiful design….
Anyway, this is just my offering, a very basic pencil sketch that evolved into my favorite recent piece.
Letraset markers on 150gsm paper, Faber-Castell 0.1 liner for detail work, brush pen for broader works.
About 2 hours work.
Woooooooooooooooow, I am getting seriously bad at posting these days…
This was (originally) a request from a dear friend as a tattoo idea. It was designed to be a chest piece, but I failed quite a bit to incorporate the various sources (skulls, feathers, flowers), so it came out to be something of a generic piece all together.
Sorry, friend!
Finally done with this self portrait.
It was a challenge, on a few levels. On the one hand, I’ve never used pens and hatching much, so getting to grips with that discipline was good. But then I had to study myself, and for someone with such low esteem that can be hard. it took some time to get past concentrating on my imperfections, acne, wrinkles and blemishes, and just draw what i saw in the mirror.
Drawn with a Faber-Castell 0.1 liner, on 130gsm sketch paper.
I was worried I had lost this piece for ages!
its about two years old now, I sat in a friends’ party as everybody else drank, and drew it.
I love the idea of cyberisation, cybernetics and the blurring of the divide between humanity and robotics.
Just a quick piece from my (now dead) D.A. account.
Mirrors Edge fan art, Faith.
Pencils, yet to be developed.
